Founder and Principal
Carleigh Kude (MPA, California State Universoty Long Beach) founded Adallyst in 2014 after a memorable a-ha moment: disability access and inclusion isn’t a static subject matter expertise: it is an ongoing understanding, driven by curiosity and belief in people’s lived experiences, that access is not a stopping point. True access is an openness, an expectaion that new barriers will always arise, and a commitment to uplifting the voices that will encounter them.
She has worked for multiple institutions of higher education, partnered with startups, UX researchers, large corporations, and individuals seeking paths forward. She is described by clients as someone who makes space for them to feel safe, invites them to be open, and to share their needs and wants without judgement.
Carleigh currently works for the Stanford School of Medicine as the Director of Disability Resources.
